After to zoo we checked into our hotel and took a little rest. Around 4pm we decided to head over to MOA. Everyone had something special they wanted do: Thomas and Michael wanted to visit the Lego Store, Isabelle wanted to check out the American Girl Store, and Hattie just wanted a pair of skinny jeans. No problem. When we walked in the front door of the mall LEGO was right in front of us, American Girl was to the right, and The GAP was to the left. Great. We hadn't planned on riding any of the rides in the Nickelodean Park, but after the kids saw it we decided to let them ride just a few. We found a list of the rides and how many tickets each was. Then we went about the task of deciding which they wanted to try and figuring out how many tickets we needed to purchase. Shortly after we started this project a woman approached us. "Are you going to be here for awhile?", she asked. We told her we had just arrived and she offered us some free mystery tickets. These tickets were given to her by someone else and she wasn't able to use them all. Each ticket has a 'mystery' number of tickets on it from 1-1000. The first one she used had 87 tickets! We graciously and quite enthusiastically accepted her gift! The first ticket we used had 6 tickets, enough for two rides. But she had given us at least 20 cards. The kids were thrilled and even Tom and I got in on the fun. We rode until all of the tickets were gone; everyone was able to enjoy at least 3 rides. Michael and Isabelle had asked to ride the ferris wheel but the tickets ran out before we got to that side of the park. Being that we still had not spent a dime, we decided to get enough tickets for all of us to go on the ferris wheel. But while Tom was at the ticket counter I was approached by yet another woman. "Are you guys going to be here for awhile?", she asked. Can you believe that she gave us another stack of 'mystery' tickets? This time the first ticket we used was worth 87 tickets!! Needless to say, everyone was able to ride every ride they wanted and then some. We enjoyed the park until Jesse fell asleep and the older kids actually said they had had enough! At that point we still had quite a handful of coupons. What to do, what to do? This time I was the one who got to approach a family and ask,"Are you guys going to be here awhile?"
We stayed at the park so long that it was way past dinner. And if the kids wanted to have time to swim at the hotel, we'd better head back that way. We decided that we would get our shopping done the next day after visiting Underwater Adventures. So we headed back to the hotel, ordered pizza, and relaxed by and in the pool. In the morning we returned to MOA to visit the aquarium and finally do some shopping. As if the night before weren't evidence enough of God's love for us, upon arrival to Underwater Adventures we were informed that admission is free on your birthday! But God still wasn't finished. Tom relaxed in the LEGO store with the little ones while Hattie and I began our quest for the perfect skinny jeans. He was dumbfounded when we returned in 20 min jeans in hand. Yep. Walked into the GAP, pulled a pair off the clearance rack no less, and walked out in 15min. Crazy! God blessed us abundantly!!!
