Fieldtrip

On Tuesday September 30 the kids and I went on our first fieldtrip with the homeschool group here in Wausau. The destination was Helene's Hilltop Orchard. It was a very cold and windy day. So much so that by the time we got there none of the kids wanted to stay (and we hadn't even gotten out of the car yet!). With a little coaxing and a bribe, I managed to get them to at least check it out. It WAS COLD! Mama didn't want to stay either. So we just said hello the the few people we knew and ducked inside the cute little store for the promised goodies. We enjoyed apple cider, fresh, hot apple dumplings with cinnamon ice cream, caramel apples and hot chocolate--yum. I snapped a few pictues of the kids on the way in.
