Make a Difference Tour

Cost of tickets: $78.50

Gas money: $25.00

Supper on the run: $14.75

Worshiping Jesus together: Priceless

It was Thursday afternoon. Thomas and Hattie were off doing a service project with the church. Teresa and Jesse were engrossed in Toy Story 2. And Tom was home early from work. Hmmmm...I wondered, were tickets still available? After a few phone calls we learned that there were still some pretty good tickets left. I quickly changed my clothes from homeschool mama of 6 to hip fan of Toby Mac, put Michael and Isabelle in the car, and away we went.

Before the concert even started we stopped by the World Vision table. Michael picked out a sweet little girl from Lebanon. Her name is Amira and she is 6 years old. She reminds me of Teresa with her curly brown locks.

The concert was a blast! All of us totally rocked out to the beat of the Diverse City Band. It was fun to watch Michael mouth ALL the words and try to beat box.

Third Day was incredible. One of my favorite bands, I sang my heart out to my new favorite "Lift Up Your Face".

But the best part was watching my kiddos worship the One True God with arms lifted high, hands open wide, and faces looking upward.
