Are You Ready for Some Football?

When my man gradutated from residency and got his first "real" job, there were two things he wanted for himself 1. a pool table and 2. NFL Sunday Ticket. Shortly after moving in to God's Country the first dream was realized and we moved on to dream #2. The DirectTV crew showed up and gave us the sad, sad, news that our home was too close to the "mountain" and had too many trees in front to receive a strong signal. Dream #2 would have to wait. So for the last three years my man has gone without. He's tried patronizing the local pub for a glimpse of his beloved Fins through the thick second hand smoke. He's tried to stream it (yes, illegally) over the internet only to have to deal with some "that would embarass Howard Stern" pop ups. He's even tried to listen over the air waves. This season his big idea was to forgo all of that and settle for Game Rewind a service that would allow him to watch commercial free and legally any game he wanted. Only thing was he had to wait until the game was OVER! "This just will not do" said his wife. So while he was away at work I had that DirectTV crew over again. And this time I made sure they got it right!
